I came upon this wonderful blog page. “Angie” left an insightful comment on the post “Organization Presupposes Unity”. I visited her page and was so moved by her writings that I had to share it.
Her comments here and her page brought me back to the perspective of why I blog. The enjoyment which comes from sharing your life with others.
Enjoy.

Thanks so much for your kind words and support. Adding me to your blog roll made me blush. (smile) Thanks for making my day!
I hope that my narratives of how disability has effected my life will enlighten, educate, and inspire those that decide to visit the blog. I also hope that my readers better understand how disability and race often cross and interconnect. Finally, I hope that my blog inspires anyone that visits it to stand up and demand life, love, peace, freedom, justice, and hope.
God bless you!
Angie
BTW… I created a health and wellness blog for African American people a couple of weeks ago. Please visit the blog, and please add it to your blog roll. That site is really important to me. The reason why I created that blog is because I want to save lives.

Angie, your comments here and your blog has helped me to refocus and remember that our efforts at the end of the day, should be about engaging with people in a positive way. If I (we) keep that focus, I think we’ll get along and accomplish much more as a community.
BTW… your health and wellness blog was added to our blogroll. Good work! Thank you for your efforts!
