I am mad I missed this through my only-periodical blog browsing! I love the post by DJ Adam and Femigog. Even the comments were educational and interesting! I wish that someone would have expanded more on the 'pagan' religions that live in Africa, that traveled to the Caribbean and the US. No mention of the Yoruba, Ife, Santeria and what the white media calls Voodoo. I am not a practicioner, but have studied them a wee bit. I mean wee! lol. But I just find it so interesting and confounding when it is mentioned, how folks (esp. Christians) recoil as if the Devil himself tapped them on the shoulder. Though these days, Islam gets the same reaction, I never could understand why these perfectly legit religions get the stank treatment from others.

The version of Christianity practiced today is not even a relic of that practiced by Chrst. The almagamation of European paganism and non Judaic dietary dispensations shows their is great European influence in modern Christianity..

I have a post on the Michael Medved Fracas that I would you all to come check out and make comments. I'm a new Blogger on the block.
