Asa, I have been an Afrobeat fan for years, beginning back when King Sunny Ade was big, to Angelique Kidjo, Papa Wemba, Brenda Fassi, Majek Fashek, Youssou N’dour, Baba Maal, Manu Dibango and of course Fela Kuti (including others I don’t have the space to name.) But, I have been remiss in listening to Femi Kuti.

His father Fela was a interesting personality also. I have some of his stuff. If you love Femi’s stuff, I would recommend getting some Fela Kuti music too.
