Too funny! Too true!
I hope you make this a weekly feature. These days we all could use a little more laughs.
Blessings!
The World will never change their views about Black People!Try to go through airports or even Eurostar, travelling from London to Belgium, Immigration officers ask you questions, even when you have their Country’s passport, this is a clear indication that they are trying to say:”We are trying to make sure this is a real passport, and that it is yours”
I experienced it when I first used my passport on 2nd June 2008, Immigration officers were laughing at my anger! There was another Black Guy who has a Belgian passport, but now working in London,he said that he regularly goes back to visit his Family, and they always hold his passport in the office and ask questions!
No matter what complaint you bring to the Head of Belgium Eurostar UK Border Agency, they just laugh it off!
It reminds me of Nazi Police, looking for Jews!
Sadly, the truth is funny. My greatest fear in these and many similar situations is my fear of being wrongly accused.
Everybody thought it was absolutely funny. I’m afraid of those who don’t.
That was true for African American women also! TOO FUNNY THOUGH.
I sometimes travel for business with white folk. They can go anywhere, at any time, and they are never hastled. Not me….I get the third degree whereever I go. It just isnt fair, and even with Obama as president, things are not better for blacks. Maybe some day, but not yet. What I hate the most is traveling overseas. My white companions just show their passport and go on. My passport always is sent to the office and held there. The white security seems to get pleasure from delaying me. Times aint a chingin!! Racisn is still alive and well!!
