They are showing out to the white liberal/progressive fencesitters who have had just about enough of us. They are trying to bring THEM back into the fold.

It goes something like this:

“See,” they’ll say, “we gave them a (P)resident, we gave them a resolution, racism is dead, damnit and still they rise….rise UP against the white hand that feeds them! You can’t satisfy these nikkuhs! Ya’ll need to swallow that white guilt and get down with your own kind…”

Don’t apologize, make amends. Making amends costs you something. Apologizing is what the drunk does who acts a full cuz of his hangover, knowing he’s gonna get plastered.

Why apologize now? This was way over due. African Americans built this country and an apology should be just the start. Reparations would be nice but I don’t see it happening because there is modern racism throughout the government and country. They might apologize because it’s the right thing to do but actions speak louder than words. Whatever the action might be, it should be something that will boost our economy and end the recession.
